Nisan 20, 5784; from sunset April 27, 2024, to sunset April 28, 2024

This is the name “Mosheh” (מֺשֶׁה – Moses) as seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls, written over two thousand years ago.
Today in the Bible, according to tradition, is the date that Pharaoh’s army caught up with the Israelites as they fled from Egypt.
The Egyptians–all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops–pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon. As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD. – Exodus 14:9-10 (NIB)
