Sivan 4, 5784; from sunset June 9, 2024, to sunset June 10, 2024

This is the name “Mosheh” (מֺשֶׁה – Moses) as seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls, written over two thousand years ago.
We’ve been following the children of Israel on the days leading up to the “Matan Torah” – the “Giving of the Torah.”
After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes. Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain from sexual relations.” – Exodus 19:14-15 (NIV)
Tradition tells us that Moses transcribed the first part of the Torah (1313 BCE) on this day.
And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. – Exodus 24:4 (NKJ)
