Iyyar 15, 5785; from sunset May 12, 2025, to sunset May 13, 2025
(The fifteenth day of the second month)

This is an image of a bulla, a clay impression, that was used to seal documents. The bulla reads “Belonging to Hezekiah, (son of) Ahaz, king of Judah.” It was discovered near the Temple Mount in 2015.
After the death of his father, Hezekiah set about cleansing the Temple and bringing holiness back to the priests, Levites, and all the children of Israel. He reminded the Levites of their responsibilities and encouraged them as they taught about the LORD. Once again, the sound of singing and praising God could be heard as Israel celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
So the children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing to the LORD, accompanied by loud instruments.
And Hezekiah gave encouragement to all the Levites who taught the good knowledge of the LORD; and they ate throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers. – 2 Chronicles 30:21-22 (NKJ)
